GIIOTECH is the GIIAVA Group's industrial-applications brand. It uses the same plant-based phospholipid chemistry as our food and feed businesses, formulated for paints, spill clean-up and drilling fluids. We sell technical grades direct to formulators, and we are open to product development partnerships where standard catalogue grades don't fit.
Lecithin acts as a pigment wetting agent, grinding/milling aid and dispersion stabiliser. It helps pigments wet out faster, disperse evenly and resist hard settling in both solventborne and water-based systems. Phospholipids adsorb onto the pigment surface and lower solid–liquid interfacial tension, so particles separate and stay suspended.
Enquire — paints →Plant-derived lecithin dispersants for marine and inland oil-spill response, offering a biodegradable, low-toxicity alternative to synthetic dispersants. We have supplied response teams before and continue to develop grades specifically for spill-response stockpiles and pre-positioning programmes.
Enquire — spill clean-up →Phospholipid surfactant chemistry for water-based and oil-based drilling-fluid systems, giving wettability control, emulsion stability and better lubricity at the bit-rock interface. Used as a plant-derived alternative to synthetic emulsifiers where formulators need a biodegradable / renewable component in the spec.
Enquire — drilling fluids →Note: the GIIOTECH product page (with named SKUs and detailed TDS) is in development. Until then we work off-catalogue on each enquiry: tell us the application and we'll come back with the right grade for the job.
